Valency Lexicon VALLEX: From Lexicon to Grammar and Back Again
As part of a two-day workshop organised within the projects Semantic–Syntactic Classification of Verbs in Croatian – SEMTACTIC (HRZZ) and Croatian Verbal Valency – Verbion (NextGenerationEU), Dr Václava Kettnerová from the Institute of Formal and Applied Linguistics, Charles University in Prague, delivered a public lecture entitled “Valency Lexicon VALLEX: From Lexicon to Grammar and Back Again” on 19 May at the Institute of Croatian Language.
The Use of the (No)Sketch Engine Tool in Identifying Verbal Valency Patterns
Organised by the Institute of Croatian Language (projects Semantic–Syntactic Classification of Verbs in Croatian (HRZZ, IP-2022-10-8074) and Croatian Verbal Valency (NextGeneration EU)) and the Department of Croatian Studies at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, Dr Zrinka Kolaković from the University of Hamburg delivered a workshop on searching for valency patterns using CQL and regular expressions. The workshop was held on 17 March 2025 at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb.
Leipzig Glossing Rules
Within the projects Semantic-Syntactic Classification of Verbs in the Croatian Language (HRZZ, IP-2022-10-8074) and Croatian Verb Valency (NextGeneration EU), Marco Angster from the Department of Linguistics of the University of Zadar, held the workshop Leipzig Glossing Rules on the 19th of February 2024, at the Institute for the Croatian Language.
